Good morning,A Punxsutawney man is behind bars after allegedly stealing a vehicle while under the influence of drugs. State police arrested forty-four-year-old Jesse Don Scott on felony charges of theft. Authorities say a victim reported her vehicle stolen from her driveway, only for Scott to pull back into the residence with the car moments later. Scott is currently held in the Jefferson County Jail.Meanwhile, e-bike safety concerns have taken center stage in St. Marys. Following reports of riders speeding down downtown sidewalks and nearly colliding with movie theater patrons, the city council and local police are looking into new safety measures. The city solicitor is currently reviewing e-bike ordinances from surrounding areas to potentially expand local restrictions on sidewalk riding.And the Ridgway Area School District is receiving a green energy boost. State Representative Mike Armanini has announced a four-hundred-eighty-thousand-dollar "Solar for Schools" grant to fund a new solar generation system.
