Police say 36-year-old Katie Lynn Neal used a payment app to transfer cash from the register without depositing money. She’s charged with 42 felony counts, with a preliminary hearing set for June 1st.Meanwhile, a Clearfield County kayaker is heading overseas to compete on the world stage. Sixteen-year-old Alan McCracken will represent the U.S. in the Senior Wildwater World Championships in Bosnia later this month, along with multiple World Cup races in Hungary and Slovakia. He’s been competing since age seven and is working toward a goal of making the U.S. Olympic team.And aviation fans have something to look forward to this weekend. The National STOL competition is coming to Clarion County Airport in Shippenville Friday and Saturday, featuring top pilots competing in short takeoff and landing challenges.
